Who was the wife of Lord Lakshmana?
His wife's name was Mookambika (known as Vyaghrapathi’s wife in the Mahabharata). She was a daughter of King Mookambika (or Moogambika) of Orissa. After her birth, Lakshmana is cursed to be reborn as a mortal woman. He was reborn as Mookambika's daughter. Lakshmana was believed to be the reincarnation of Sage Mookanda. Makanda was the one who brought all the 108 names of gods and goddesses to the audience in a melodious form in the guise of a poet. Lakshmana lost his wife to death. Sheshashayaka was killed by Rama for his treachery. Sheshashayaka's wife Champa ran after her lover Sheshashayaka who was going to Sheshapura and jumped off the cliff with Sheshashayaka and died. At that time Anjana came to the house and saw her husband being killed, she was consumed with rage. She had three sons, one was the great sorcerer Lord Hanuman.

Both of the sons are called Pushkara and Shatrughna. Pushkara was born from the pair and made himself suitable for Rama's service as a soldier, so Rama granted Pushkara to the Surya clan as a groom for Sita.
